This is a week long walk starts from Trishuli Bazar-an old famous town to the north of Kathmandu brings through nice and cultural villages with nature to the Nepal’s most historical place “Gorkha” -the name of Nepal’s origination. This is not very hard trek but very non-touristy, cultural and peaceful. The lodges are not available along the route. Thus, the tour must be arranged a fully organized camping one. The Himalayan View of gaint Ganesh Himal family, Manaslu toward Annapurna range is the most attraction of the tour too.
Day 1 | Kathmandu - To Betrawati (5 hours bus drive). North of Kathmandu via Trishuli Bazaar |
Day 2 | Betrawati - Kispang (aprx. height 1600m.); 5 hours walk. |
Day 3 | Kispang - Thulo Chaur (aprx. height 2200m.); 5 hours walk. |
Day 4 | Thulo Chaur - Gonga (aprx. height 2900m.); 3-4 hours walk. |
Day 5 | Gonga - Rupchet (aprx. hight 3635m.); this is the base camp of Shing La Top; 4 hours walk. |
Day 6 | Rupchet - Shing La Top (aprx. hight 4100m.) - Kharka (aprx. height 2500m.); 7 hours walk. |
Day 7 | Forest Camp - Pangsang-la Bangyang (aprx. height 4100m.) 6 hours walk. |
Day 8 | Pangsang-la BangyangTipling (Aprx height 2000) |
Day 9 | Tipling - Borang (aprx. height 1700m.); 6 hours walk |
Day 10 | Borang - Jharlang (aprx. height 1700m.) 6 hours walk |
Day 11 | Jharlang - Kintang Phedi (aprx. height 800m.); 6 hours walk. |
Day 12 | Kintang Phedi - Jemrung (Aprx. Height 1800m.) 7 hours walk |
Day 13 | Jemrung - Dhading Bensi (aprx.height 700m.) - 4 hours walk |
Day 14 | Dhading bensi - bus drive back to Kathmandu or Pokhara or Chitwan (about 3-4 hours) |
