Bhutan, culturally rich country is locally Known as Drukyul (land of Thunder Dragon) is located to the north of India and south of the Tibet. As Bhutan is Buddhist country it has ample of cultural heritage which has flourished the tourism in Bhutan. This is a nation of common sense, hermits, and conjurer, a favorite and beloved king, beautiful natural landscape and cooperative people. Although it is culturally rigid country, it has mixture of traditional and up to date culture. Cultural tour of Bhutan refers to the Bhutan’s greatness of Buddhist culture and its demonstration through the way of life of Bhutanese people, architectural development of heritages like shrines, temples, Bihar, and Stupas of the Bhutan. Especially the valleys or cities of Bhutan; Thimpu, Paro, Punakha, and Bumthang house the cultural manifestation via Dzong, temples carnivals monasteries and the other infrastructural developments. Bhutan is not getting any transformation contrary to the past but it still carries on its historical background in very conscious way. Although it has for-grounded new ways of eating and dressing, Bhutanese are not getting away from their national food and dress. So Bhutanese   are the representation of patriotic and nationalist citizen. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu After you arrive in Kathmandu you meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel.   Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing This day you visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath stupa is the oldest Buddhist stupa. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.  In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.   Day 03: flight from Kathmandu to Paro  Third day is the day of departure from Kathmandu to Paro through flight which takes about one and half hours to reach Paro. On the same day you can enjoy the cultural glimpse of Paro valley including Taktshang (the tiger monastery) is an example of historical architecture of Bhutan.   Day 04: Sightseeing in Paro  Today after the breakfast taking short drive go to visit Drukgyel, 16 km north to the Paro valley, a historical monastery built in 15th century. While roaming there one can enjoy the enchanting view of Mt. Chomolhari (7314m.) from the wooden tower. On the next day visit Kila Gompa (home to Buddhist nuns) and Kyichu which is one of the oldest shrines of Bhutan provides the glimpse of 7th century’s architectural development, and the same day visit Ta Dzong , the national library whish has housed the traditional cultural heritages of Bhutan.   Day 05: Drive from Paro to Thimpu, 3hrs Today after having breakfast take the 3hrs drive (65km.) to capital city of Bhutan Thimpu, a culturally beautified city. Upon arrival in Thimpu after having lunch visit the Zaring Chusum, school of Art and Crafts where one can witness young children at their learning then a short walking reaches you to the National Institute of Traditional Medicine where one can observe the traditional way of healing the ill people.   Day 06: Sightseeing day at Thimpu Today in Thimpu you visit the grand monasteries like Tashichho Dzong Phajoding along with National library. The most attraction of the Thimpu is Folk Heritage and National Textile Museum, where one can witness the traditional woven materials. Then on the same day visit Cheri Tango monastery built on the memory of king Jigme, and Jigme Dorji National Park. In the evening visit the Thimpu valley and get enjoy of street market, cultural shows and get rest in hotel.   Day 07: Drive to Punakha Today after breakfast you leave the alluring city for another enchanting valley Punakha taking the drive nearby Dochula from where one can witness the snow capped Himalayan range . On the way one can get also chance to get vision of Chime Lakhang a historical temple is also known as the “temple of fertility “and you will reach in Punakha at lunch time. After the lunch visit Punakha Dzong located between Pho Chu and Mo Cho Rivers. Then you visit the scared place Dochu-la, the place of 108 Stupas. As Punakha is the winter home for king for over 300 years, you will visit the Punakha Dzong and witness its grand structure carved with traditional wooden crafts work.   Day 08: Drive to Wangdue On the same day after having lunch start driving to the town of Wangdue, the district head quarter of Wangdue and visit the Wangdue Dzong and spend overnight there.   Day 09: Drive to Bhumthang Today after breakfast drive to the holy land of Bhutan, Bumthang passing through a sophisticated valley Yutong La (3425m.) and driving down to another valley Chumey ia known s the valley of textiles. Arrival upon Bumthang ,on the same day after having breakfast, go for sightseeing of Tamsing Lhakhang monastery built in 16th century and decorated by Pema Lingpa. Next day after breakfast visit Kurjey Lhakhang monastery a place where Guru Rinpoche mediated and after lunch you will take short hike to visit a natural village Thangbi Mani and witness the very old monastery Gomchens and the local community school. And then visit Jakar Dzong (the castle of white birds) and Swiss Cheese Factory and buy some mouthwatering products and then you will enjoy the street market in evening and rest at hotel.   Day 10: Drive to Haa valley  On the same morning after breakfast star drive to mythical valley of Guardian Spirit, Haa valley and visits some ancient temples and Stupa. After having lunch in Haa visit he famous and scared monasteries of valley Wangchulo Dzong and visit the tradional farm house of Haa valley, and stay overnight there.   Day 11: Drive and fly back to Kathmandu As usual on the this day after breakfast get checkout from hotel and drive back to Paro valley passing through Chele-La pass (3 822m.), the highest point of Bhutan where motor road is being reached, and get the view of Himalayan peaks. If you have plenty of time you get the pleasure of remaining sightseeing of Paro valley, if not get flight back to Kathmandu
