Out of the various packages of Bhutan tour the central Bhutan tour package is most enchanting package which provides ample of natural views, cultural and religious devotion Bhutani people along with view of mountain and monasteries. Central Bhutan consist of four cities; Paro, Punakha, Thimphu and Bumthang. Diverse cultural glances, festivals and carnivals like Jampy, Lakhang, ancient architecture monasteries, old royal residential areas, short and long trekking with rural sights are main attraction of central Bhutan.

Paro (2250m)

Among the four cities Paro, nearby Pa Chu River is famous for Bhutan’s oldest temples and monasteries, and the country’s only one airport, National Museum, is also ever green fertile valley. Ta Dzong (national library with traditional heritage of Bhutan), Rinpung Dzong (place of celebration of traditional folk culture), Drukgyel (view tower for Mt. Chomolhari), Kila Gompa (home to Buddhist nuns), farm house built in traditional style and magnificence of life style of farming family, and Kyichu(one of the two oldest shrines of Bhutan) are the main attractions of Paro.

Thimpu (2350m)

Thimpu is the capital city of Bhutan. Although it provides the modern facilities, is rich in traditional architectural and cultural prosperity. The people of the Thimpu are welcoming and cooperative. Monasteries like Tashichho Dzong and Phajoding Monastery and Cheri Tango, Semokha (the institute of language and culture studies), national library with Foreign Language Collection House, Zaring Chusum (the panting school), National Institute of Traditional Medicine, Folk Heritage and National Textile Museum, weekend market, and Jigme Dorji National Park are the places to be noticed in Thimpu.

Punakha (1350m)

Punakha is the most fertile valley of Bhutan and was the capital city until 1955. This valley is in between two rivers Pho Cho and Mo Cho. Dochu-la (place of 108 Stupas), Punakh Dzong (monastery built with Bhutanese art and crafts), and Chimi Lhakhang (temple of fertility) are the main places to visit in Punakha.

Bumtang (2600m)

Bumthang is regarded as the most attractive and holy valleys of Bhutan which consists of four valleys Ura, Chumery, Tang, and Chokhor. These four basins are beautified by temples, monasteries, and stupas. Bare rocks towering above river gorge and thick forests also entice the visitors. Bumthang is also famous for its weavers, and their hand woven textile products.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu After you arrive in Kathmandu you meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing This day you visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath stupa is the oldest Buddhist stupa. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.  In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess. Day 03: flight from Kathmandu to Paro  After breakfast take flight from Kathmandu to Paro. While flying over the sky you will be benefited by views of highest peak like Mt. Everest (8848m) Kanchenjunga, Chomolhari, and Jichu Drake. An arrival upon Paro, representatives from hotel greets you and leads you to hotel. after launch you can enjoy the sightseeing in Paro and in evening enjoy the street market and cultural shows of Bhutanese people. Day 04: Sightseeing in Paro Today you begin your day by taking short drive to visit Drukgyel, 16 km north to the Paro valley, a historical monastery built in 15th century. While roaming there one can enjoy the enchanting view of Mt. Chomolhari (7314m.) from the wooden tower. After sightseeing of Drukgyel, while returning back to city, on the way, you will visit the old shrine Kyichu, the oldest shrines of Bhutan and the national library (Ta Dzong). Start the next you take 2hrs drive to Satsam Chorten and take short trek to reach Taksang Monastery built in 15th century and get back to city through Rinpung Dzong (place for celebration of folk culture) and farm house. Day 05: Drive from Paro to Thimpu, 3hrs After breakfast take about 3hrs drive to reach the capital city of Bhutan, Thimpu and transfer to hotel. After launch at afternoon enjoy the sightseeing of Thimpu including Dzongs like Tashichho and Phajoding, and the Semokha (the national library). On the same day visit Memorial Chorten of the late king Jigme Dorji, Zaring Chusum (the painting school), National Textile Museum, and Dorji National Park. In the evening enjoy the mask dance and weakened market and stay overnight at hotel. Day 06: Sightseeing in Thimpu Today in Thimpu you visit the grand monasteries like Tashichho Dzong Phajoding along with National library. The most attraction of the Thimpu is Folk Heritage and National Textile Museum, where one can witness the traditional woven materials. Then on the same day visit Cheri Tango monastery built on the memory of king Jigme, and Jigme Dorji National Park. In the evening visit the Thimpu valley and get the enjoy of street market, cultural shows and get rest in hotel. Day 07: Drive from Thimpu to Punkha  After breakfast you leave the alluring city for another enchanting valley Punakha taking the drive nearby Dochula from where one can witness the snow capped Himalayan range. On the way one can get also chance to get vision of Chime Lakhang a historical temple is also known as the “temple of fertility “and you will reach in Punakha at lunch time. After the lunch visit Punakha Dzong located between Pho Chu and Mo Cho rivers. Then you visit the scared place Dochu-la, the place of 108 Stupas. As Punakha is the winter home for king for over 300 years, you will visit the Punakha Dzong and witness its grand structure carved with traditional wooden crafts work.   Day 08: Drive to Wangdue After having lunch start driving to the town of Wangdue, the district head quarter of Wangdue and visit the Wangdue Dzong and spend overnight there. Day 09: Drive to Tronsga  In the morning after the breakfast you take about 5hrs drive to reach Trongsa (2200m), passing through Pele-la (3300m). On the way we will get closer to Yak herder Camp, and Himalayan country sides like Rukubji and Chendebji with the glances of Bhutanese rustic people. Day 10:  Drive to Bhumthang  Today you will visit the longest Dzong the Trongsa Dzong and start drive to Bumthang and stay overnight. Day 11: Sightseeing day around Bumthang  In the morning after the breakfast you will take short hike visit a natural village Thangbi Mani and witness the very old monastery Gomchens and the local community school. After the lunch Jakar Dzong (the castle of white birds) and Swiss Cheese Factory and buy some mouthwatering products and then you will enjoy the street market in evening and rest at hotel. Day 12: Drive to Ura Today you will take short drive to visit beautiful valley Ura where one can get the glance of Ura Lhakhang with the glimpse of rustic life style of Bhutanese people. The warm hospitality of local people and interesting scenes of their habitation is another alluring feature of Ura valley. Then on the same day you will visit the Thimshingla National Park and spend overnight at hotel.   Day 13: Drive back to Bumthang  On this day after the breakfast visit Tamshing Lhakhang (temple of the good messenger), and take short drive to visit Membarsho (Burning lake), close to Tang valley and return to Bumthang. Day 14: Drive back to Wandi Phodrang On the day you will return back to Wandi Phodrang from Bumthang and have packing lunch on the way and spend overnight in hotel. Day 15: Drive to Thimpu On the day you will drive will be continuous to get into Thimpu along beautiful natural scenes of Bhutan’s country sides, green forest and some rivers and stay overnight in Thimpu. Day 16: Drive back to Kathmandu As it is final day of tour carrying fresh memories of the tour you will catch flight to return back to Kathmandu
